About the event
First, children’s book author and counselor Amanda Neary will lead an interactive reading of Ellis Learns to Let It Out - Monday Morning, a heartwarming story for young children about navigating big feelings during everyday routines and transitions.
Through Ellis’s relatable experiences, children will explore ways to recognize, express, and manage their emotions in healthy, playful ways.
Following storytime, Amanda will guide children and their caregivers through a fun, hands-on feelings activity to help bring the story’s lessons to life!
Immediately after, children can join open play while parents speak with Valerie Probstfeld Author of "To Mom is To Love" a 2025 book and podcast that reframes mothering as an active, daily choice of love rather than a passive or impossible standard.
