Summer Doesn't Have to Be All or Nothing

There’s something magical about summer.

The schedules loosen. The days get longer. Weekends turn into lake trips, family BBQs, vacations, zoo visits, and afternoons spent chasing bubbles in the backyard. For children, it's a season built for exploration. For parents? It can feel like a puzzle.

How do you balance work with family vacations? What happens when grandparents visit? What if camp for your older child doesn't start until July? Or you only need childcare a few days each week? For many families, summer doesn't fit neatly into a Monday-through-Friday routine. And that's okay.

At Le Village, we've always believed that childcare should support real life—not the other way around. Some weeks you need full-time care. Other weeks you're headed out of town. Maybe you're working from home and only need a few hours to focus. Maybe you want your child to spend one or two mornings each week playing with friends while you catch up on work, errands, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee.

Summer gives families permission to embrace a little more flexibility, and we think childcare should do the same.

Learning Doesn't Stop Just Because Summer Starts

While summer feels lighter, children are still learning every single day.

They're building confidence as they climb a little higher on the playground. They're expanding their vocabulary while roaring like lions and stomping like elephants during our June in the Jungle curriculum. They're learning cooperation through imaginative play, discovering new sensory experiences outdoors, and developing social skills that only happen when children explore together.

The best part?

To them, it just feels like fun.

That's exactly how childhood should be.

Make Summer Work for Your Family

Every family's summer looks different, and that's why we've designed our programs with flexibility in mind.

Whether you're looking for consistent care, a few days each week, or occasional support between vacations and family visits, we're here to help you build a schedule that works for your family—not force your family into someone else's schedule.

Because summer should be filled with adventures, not stress.

Curious About Flexible Care?

Many of our locations offer part-time schedules, flexible memberships, and drop-in opportunities throughout the summer.
